ABOUT

Hello and welcome to my author page, in the way of traditional introductions I would like to introduced myself. I am Jennifer Pierce-Gaeta and I am an author. I write because I love writing and I like to share. Imagination is something no one can live without and my imagination is huge. I have been writing since I was a young girl. My first publication was in the Mercury News and it was a story about survival and intelligence. I was in fifth grade and was horrified to be chosen. My teacher told me that my story was powerful and well written for my age. I disagreed, I was critical of myself even at the tender age of eleven.

As I grew older my craft grew with me and my love of reading prompted me to write and publish my very first novel Pandora’s Hell. It was a nerve racking first experience and left me exhausted and afraid of what the world would think. To my surprise the world love it! When I received my author copy, I was over the moon! I literally tilted my head back and howled like a mad woman. Cradling my book like a new born baby I rushed to show everyone I knew. My dreams of being a published author had finally come true.

Years have past now and I can tell you I feel the same way with each new book baby I hold and the urge to howl in joy still exist. The last ten years have been a marvelous journey and I am proud to include each and every reader on that journey with me. It is because of your constant encouragement and want for more that I continue to hone and craft new worlds every day. It is my greatest pleasure in life.

Aside from writing I have a law degree and have run a prominent dental office for the last twenty years. I love to help people in many different forms. I am a tad bit goofy, nerdy and hold a love of cartoons that out strips most children. (I refuse to let go of my inner child. Shhhh, don’t tell anyone.) I love football, hiking, painting, and karaoke. I am very silly by nature and love to make people laugh. I push for comic relief in my novels at times when I feel it is getting to serious. I love connecting with my readers and delight in your opinions. I often take what I learn from all of you and shape it into something you can love as much as I do. Welcome to my world, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
